Roots Run Deep 'ROBIN'
After five years of service in the New Zealand Army, Robin Goomes was at a crossroads. She had to decide whether to continue her career as a heavy machinery operator or to make a massive bet on herself and pursue her dream of becoming a professional mountain biker. Robin had never competed outside of New Zealand, and it was rare for women to secure invites in a male-dominated sport. Despite these uncertainties and the ever-present risk of injury, she decided to roll the dice.

ASR - A lot like nothing else

Oh we get it. On the surface, the reincarnated ASR may seem like most other World Cup XC rigs. But be careful about judging this book by its cover. Because with 115mm of innovative “progressive-flex” seatstay travel and zero redundant carbon, the reincarnated ASR is ready for today’s XC. And tomorrow’s. #YetiCycles #RaceBred #RideDriven

He knows the vast network of trails like the back of his hand and is able to stitch tracks together for Enduro, E-Enduro, and Marathon courses that challenge the best riders in the world. Playing host to Enduro and E-Enduro World Cups is no small feat - from course ideation and planning many months in advance to orga...

Switch Infinity Maintenance
Переглядів 9 тис.9 місяців тому
The key to Yeti's renowned Switch Infinity suspension is the linear action of the SI link, and just like the stanchions on a fork, it needs some love from time to time. Refreshing the SI is as simple as pushing fresh grease through the Zerk fittings, though some disassembly is required for access. This video is takes you through our recommended process of servicing the Switch Infinity link to k...
Yeti Gathering: Montezuma County
Переглядів 4,6 тис.9 місяців тому
The first official Yeti Gathering was a small affair, held in Snowmass, CO at the end of a race weekend. Burgers were flipped with a pedal wrench because nobody thought to bring a spatula - and just like any good bike party, impromptu racing ensued. Everyone had a blast, so we decided to do it again the following year. Two decades later, we’re still getting together every summer for a weekend o...

@@MrMaxx._. So Ich komme aus Deutschland aus der alten DDR. The Simple Life wird jetzt in der alten DDR gedreht was im Jahr 2005 nicht erlaubt wurde von Fox News und MTV. Superb riding Robin ! You're such a huge inspiration for so many riders 🤘
Very good content
Should I get a 140 or a 160 Im a jump enduro rider
Haha sick
SC Blur is what i see.
I watched this without reading the comments first…Make sure you undo the cable clamp on both sides even if you’re running wireless and have no cable (the video doesn’t mention this). If you don’t it will snap the bolt of the cable clamp and mess up the collet axel….ask me how i know 😅 edit your video to make sure this is included yeti!
I just snapped mine 😂
Извините, но своего чего то не придумали что ли? Ну столько вариантов было, а вы с canyon берете базу
I am having issues removing the main pivot collect axle, it just spins but does not come out. In the video it said to keep the "tabs" so it doesn't run off. What are these tabs?
I forgot to mention, I have a 2024 sb140 LR.
JT looking fast as hell!!!
Jt putting in work, the taco is so sick
I remember going on bike rides with the mountain bike team with JT. Crazy how for you’ve come. Keep shredding
Boy is so fast. Raced him at Hubbapalooza and he put 10 seconds into me.
Haha that was me! Jt wasn’t at hubapalooza. We are twins
@@brandonbikes2558 O right! My bad haha! I thought your first name was brandon! Sick racing ya!
Great footage... where are JT's favorite places to ride in the PNW?
bellingham for sure!
Was hoping you would say that…moving there in three weeks! Thanks
@@jtfisher252 do you ever ride U-Line? my favorite trail!
So still exploring… moving from NorCal and have only ridden Bellingham three or four times. Will add U-Line to the list. Thanks!
@@wellstanner3216hey man be sure to check out a trail called ranked advancement it helps me improve my skills!!💪💪
The color grading on this video is phenomenal. Love the flow with backstory just as much as the shredding. Great video and top notch riding.
love to see yellow back into the color scheme
I had to remove the cable clamp from both sides even though I have wireless shifting on my SB140. If you don't do this, when you remove the collet axle you could damage the collet nut on the drive side and could damage the frame.
The geo looks identical to Santa Cruz blur and cervelo zfs5
First like lol let me get one @yeticycles
I have a 2015 ASR-C as my [now] second bike, and I still find myself going back to it again and again.
Isn't it a lot like every other single pivot short travel bike? 😂
Now do it on a hardtail! Great vid...love the can shooting too...looks like an amazing day.
I have the 2016 ASR-C. This is not much different, longer, slacker, a bit heavier it appears. Good design repeats itself in nature because it solves a problem eloquently. The Switch Infinity thing is just an overly complicated floating pivot. My prediction is that will go away in favor of a simpler, lighter, lower maintenance design.
What’s the selling point?
YÉTI MAN
This looks the same as like 4 other xc bikes... Rocky mountain instinct, canyon lux. It's identical to the Santa Cruz blur 😂 Do they smell their own farts and think they're pleasant?
Yeti doing anything but release the dj 🥲
Love every second of it!!
Now I can carry the switchinfinitythingy in my jersey pocket! Yay!
Waiting for the new 160E
ASR ❤ the most progressive bike.
A lot like… you just repainted a Rocky Mountain Element.
Both are bikes, so that part is similar. Everything else is different.
@@mwinner101different colors
Lol yes exactly. This bike looks the exact same as various other bikes
@@RubyByte I’m seeing front triangle from the SC Blur with a rear triangle from an Epic.
Is this replacing the SB120?
Rad!
What was the trail ridden at 0:42? I recognize black bettys, and deadass and indy but wasnt sure which one that was, is it at lhohv as well? Also it seems like the last clips are from deadass but what was the trail at 2:02? Couldn't recognize that one either.
the only thing this video makes me think is that these guys enjoy it cause they didnt pay 12k for a bicycle 🤣🤣
I Can't wait to go back to Colorado in April. I've been going back for the past 3 years to go mountain biking and I absolutely love it. My last trip last year was Crested Butte, such a beautiful place. I cried when I left. So much peace.
Bravo Francesco !
Yeti history runs deep ! QUESTION ? Who’s your favorite ? Who’s the most bad-ass Yeti racer of all time..!?! Today Richie certainly is at the tip of the spear. Remember Tomac, Missy,Miles Rockwell even Gwinn. ? A huge nod to John Parker, Chris Herting and LEGEND F.T.W. Frank “the welder” Wadelton) Back in the day Yeti’s were the shit and cooler than free beer. However my vote goes to my best friend, cycling phenom- one whom has given more than anyone…. Kenny “Haggar” Foraker Hit by a drunk driver in ‘86 losing his left leg and still just simply SHREDS ! How shreddy ? He was signed as their factory D.H.er in ‘93 with yes one leg !!! Go Richie ! Kick-ass sea-bass.. but remember if Haggar had 2 legs everyone else would be racing for second.
Maaaaan Boggs is good
Hello, I noticed a wireless option on the app. as you were going through the settings. What's that all about?? TIA
